Memorial Scholarship

The Fort Walton Beach Community Chorus Memorial Scholarship was established in 1993 in dedication to numerous long-time chorus members who have passed before us. Since 1993, the FWBCC has awarded over $40,000 in scholarships to students in the local community. Just as music was a large part of our past members’ lives, this scholarship aids its recipients in their pursuit of furthering their music experience and education.

Each year the Fort Walton Beach Community Chorus will award two (2) scholarships, each in the amount of $1,000.00, to two (2) graduating high school seniors from Okaloosa or Santa Rosa County who are selected through an audition process. Each scholarship will be given to assist the students’ music study during a single college year.
